The long-awaited peds toolkit with many resources is now available on the MDH website. All hospitals are to have a pediatric surge annex attached to their Emergency Operating Plans. There is now a link to the MDH information on PODS on the Resource page. In June, each of the 11 counties Local Public Health hosted an education session and tabletop exercise with their partners. One county set up a POD to exercise the logistical aspect of a POD.
